Is This Christianity

This Can’t Be Christianity?!
Many in America have turned away from church because they couldn’t see Jesus in it’s members. Non-attenders have found more kindness and compassion in other groups they now belong to. In fact, they have come to see more power for their lives in non-church groups than they experienced at church! But is this reality?
What we desire in life is harmony with one another, a sympathetic ear when things go wrong, brotherly kindhearted relationships from others who are humble towards us—not judgmental. We think there must be a better life than incurring evil and insults. Truth be known, we’d like to be blessed by others and pour blessing out in return. Is this your heart’s desire?
That is precisely how the Bible tells us to live! “..all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing” (1 Peter 3:8-9).
Betcha’ didn’t think that was Christianity. This lifestyle can be a reality for you. It begins with you. Be this and join with others who hold to the same conviction. It is true spiritual living and it only comes out of a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is not a byproduct of church membership. It is a fruit of the Holy Spirit dwelling within you combining with others who have the Holy Spirit within them. Jesus say’s, “Come”.
